Where'd the summer go?

I miss my mom.



A side story:

My mom and #1 were "taking" a nap the other day which usually entails the adult desparately trying to sleep while #1 crawls and climbs all over him or her. Mom had reached a point where she was almost asleep when she suddenly felt #1 licking her neck. The following conversation ensued:

Grandma: "#1!!! What are you doing?!?!?!"
#1: "Grandma, I'm a vampire and I'm sucking your blood"
Grandma: "That's sick! Why would you do that!"
#1 in a very serious tone: "Vampires don't talk to people, Grandma"

Apparently #1 and Aunt Chandra had a conversation about different kinds of monsters and vampires seemed to make an impression.
