Our kitchen was filthy the other day, and #1 was playing with his kitchen toys while I did the dishes. He started making us some pie and since I had to clean the table and the floor anyway, I gave him some soap suds to work with. It actually ended up being a lot of fun. Who knew soap was so easy to sculpt?

#1 is doing so much better than expected as a big brother. He loves to tickle N and hold her. When she cries, he puts her binky back in for her which can be a little forceful at times, but ultimately he does a good job. When he was playing with his kitchen toys, he made her some food and then requested that I go to the doctor to get her some teeth so she could eat it. He doesn't seem to mind that my attention for him is divided (sometimes disproportionately) these days.
The Young and the Restless

Hopefully the mohawk isn't an indication of a rebellious nature- N has some seriously unruly hair.
N is also doing well. She has a REALLY hard time sleeping during the day sometimes and it can get a little hairy as a result (no pun intended). I've tried letting her cry, swings, vibrating chairs, holding her, but it seems like sometimes she enters a point of no return where nothing will soothe her into sleep. But we got the nursing thing down which is a relief.
Here's a couple of other cute things #1 has said lately:
"Are those your milk muscles?"
"Mommy, here's a coin for you. The sides say REPENT OR DIE" (I guess I should be happy he's absorbing something from scripture time)
